Welcome to the Reunion Committee Website

UPDATED 6/7/09  The 2009 Reunion was a great success. We have decided that the Reunion Committee will generate a list of suggested locations for the 2011 reunion and let everyone vote for the location. More on this later.

12/10/08 Kathy Harris would like to contact the George Lear family from the 1974 Blue crew. Contact information is kathy.harris@windstream.net .

My name is LCDR Gil Williams and I am currently on active duty stationed at Commander, Submarine Force, Norfolk VA.  I have been asked to document an invent reported by Mr. David H. Deason in that as a crew member, he fell overboard during refit onboard the USS VON STEUBEN (SSBN 632)(G) on 1 April 1975.  He has submitted a claim to the VA Office and they are requesting verification of this incident.  Ship's logs do not record this event, and I was hoping you might be able to direct me to someone I could site as a verification source.

I hate just to respond I have nothing in the deck logs if by chance it was just not recorded as having served on several submarines, I understand not everything makes it into the deck logs.

Thanks for your assist.  V/R LCDR Gil Williams (Contact Information gilbert.l.williams@navy.mil)

I have a clock from that ship on eBay and would like to get the word out.

I will ship it to a crew member who wins the auction for free.

Thanks,
